What Is Ps3 Troubleshooting Dot Com All About?

 

Why did I create a website dedicated to the ps3 troubleshooting problems? Well, when my playstation malfunctioned on me one Saturday morning, I immediately jumped onto the internet and started researching on ways to fix my playstation 3 (this is after I blame my dog for). The worst thought in my mind would be that I had to buy a new playstation 3 if I could not get my original unit to work.

 

I spent a lot of time scrounging the internet for parts that I thought I needed. I took a crash course on how to open a playstation 3 and fixing the hardware with scewdrivers by watching Youtube videos (good thing I stopped myself after I opened my playstation and saw the internal electrical pieces that I could not name). I had given up on looking for ways to fix a ps3 because the methods that I found online requires a person to have a PhD on fixing computers and complex pieces of hardware. I turned my house down looking for the receipt.

After a couple hours of flipping tables, beds, and cabinets, I gave up and called Sony. They asked me for my receipt and I said that I had misplaced it. The news went from bad to worse when they told me that the warranty is void without the receipt given to me at the time of purchase. By now my whole Saturday off from work has been wasted so I went back online and looked on forums for people that had similar ps3 troubleshooting problems. Everyone agrees with one thing: without the original sales receipt, Sony will not help with your Ps3 Troubleshooting concerns. Many have said that even if you have your receipt and original packaging, you are in for a roller coaster ride with Sony’s warranty procedures.  A big shock was that Sony would have to reboot the unit in order to fix any ps3 troubleshooting problems. That would mean that the whole hard drive would be erased.

I’m looking at my ps3 and nothing works. It turns on but won’t read any discs. I call Sony customer service for help and they inform me I need to send it to them for repairs, and pay for all the shipping expenses myself. All electronic devices emit heat and when you group them together, you run the risk of overheating them all. This is not a huge problem for DVD players or even surround sound systems but the PS3 is very susceptible to damage from heat.
